Congratulations to Listuguj Haven House

NICAFV would like to extend our congratulations to Listuguj Haven House on the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Second Stage Transitional Housing Project.

The ceremony marked an important milestone in the development of eight fully furnished transitional housing units that will provide safe, supportive housing for families affected by family violence, gender-based violence, and intimate partner violence. This new development reflects a strong commitment to supporting the safety, healing, and well-being of individuals and families within the community.

The site was blessed by Elder Blanche Martin, and tobacco offerings were made by staff from Haven House, Apoqnmatulinej Wellness Centre, and Capital and Infrastructure.

NICAFV is pleased to acknowledge this exciting step forward and celebrates the continued efforts to strengthen supports and create safe spaces for families on their healing journeys. We wish Listuguj Haven House every success as this important project moves forward.
