The National Indigenous Circle Against Family Violence (NICAFV) would like to extend heartfelt congratulations to Weli-Ankweyasimk Women’s Shelter on their upcoming Grand Opening of their new shelter space in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia.

This important milestone reflects continued dedication to supporting Indigenous women, children, and families through safety, healing, and community care. We recognize the hard work, vision, and commitment that made this space possible and celebrate this meaningful achievement alongside the community.
